Plans are a foot!

Yes the wheels have been whirring and the cogs have been turning and flow diagrams have been …… erm… flowing!!  I had forgotten what fun flow diagrams can be.  Arrows shooting off here there and everywhere and different colours adding a splurge.

Ooops not good with the light or the focus, but from this initial brain storm came…

and this…

and this…

and with a little help from books…

(definitely something wrong with the light!) and a magazine….

a list has emerged. So once on paper – substitute blog! – there is no going back!!

  • To go for a brisk walk every day – yes I did say EVERY day!
  • Spend time with my Bible and talk to God.
  • To take the time to research? – get to know different characters in the Bible.
  • Doodle away 15 minutes in my sketch pad.  Explore pattern and texture.  Should be fun!
  • Continue to knit and crochet.  I want to explore Fair Isle!
  • But to get to grips with beading and patchwork.  Precision is the key!
  • In the garden I want to be more adventurous with the pots and hanging baskets and grow things we can eat.  Perhaps they go together?!
  • To raise £750 for the Sun Shine school – the total for this year is now well over £500!  Thank you!
  • To illustrate Little Bear book and publish.
  • To return to Israel – flights are already booked so this one is cheating really!!
  • AND continue with the cooking and ironing and washing – not in that order of course – dusting and cleaning and spending time in our little home on wheels (squeal with excitement!) and ….? Sorry?  One  missing?  Oh yes that one.  The one Mr A didn’t like the sound of, the one beginning with D!!!
  • DECORATING!!!!

So next year is going to be a busy!  Busy busy busy!!! Just like the next two weeks, so I will see you in the New Year and wish you a very Happy Christmas with your friends and family.

Hi Alison, do you know that you are INSPIRING? Well it is true and I do not lie.
    Have you discovered http://www.gty.org
that is the site for John McArthur an excellent Bible teacher, I highly recommend it.
I would love to chat to you about publishing a book …. I have three stories written in rough but have no idea how to move on from there. That is my 2011 goal, along with making 12 quilt tops for Kristine’s ministry in Thessalonika – see a posting on my blog.
May we both grow in our knowledge and love of God and His Word through the coming year.
Blessings for Christmas to you and your family.
    love Val
