Floors were washed. Bottle banks were visited. Shopping was bought. Washing washed, and the Post Office supplied me with the stamps to whisk letters and parcels away. And in between I was able to settle down for the odd 20 minutes to make – well ….
Equipment gathered and poised at the ready…
I unpicked the first test piece as it didn’t quite work. But the idea was there. The beads were reused and threaded on to crochet cotton.
The clasp was anchored and then with simple chain stitch, I crocheted along my line of beads. For this one I used a random selection, picked up from a charity shop, and placed three beads between each stitch. The trick is to keep the tension tight. The finished article….

and draped on the wrist..
One down and the next ready to hook. Same method but similar sized beads gave a completely different look.
Can you see how it spirals? And then on the wrist… (sorry a little blurry – camera shake!!)
Finally, this one had six beads with six chain stitch between….
I may unpick the last one and try it with some dark thread. We will see! Today I have these little play mates to make….
